A Renault 4CV, better known as 4/4, declared a site of cultural interest, was the first car manufactured by Renault in Spain. Today the maca factory in Valladolid has managed to reach the figure of 8 million vehicles. It is a Renault Captur E-Tech engineered version, lightning blue in color with a black roof and destined for a Spanish client.
Have passed more than 50 years and 19 models since the inauguration of the Assembly Factory 2 in 1972, today known as the Valladolid Factory. For its part, the Palencia factory began production in 1978 with the manufacture of the emblematic R12 and was inaugurated in October of the same year.
A Renault R8 was the first vehicle that came off the production line of this Factory, followed by models such as R-5, R-7, R-12, R-18, R-9, R-4, R-11, R-19, Clio, Twingo, Modus, Twizy up to Captur, a model of which the Factory has already produced more than 2 million units.
A true success story thanks to its design and two-tone bodywork, which revolutionized the market. Captur is constantly evolving and today it is available in a thermal, LPG, hybrid and plug-in hybrid version.
A Captur makes the vehicle number eight million in Valladolid
Unit eight million of the current Valladolid Factory has left the production line this morning. It also has unos toques warm titanium on the F1 foil and the tailpipes, which reaffirm its resolutely dynamic appearance. The E-Tech engineered logo on the left side of the car adds to its exclusivity, just as the black and gold E-Tech badge is its rear signature.
However, Renault production in Spain had already begun in Valladolid in 1953 at the nearby Assembly Factory 1. This Factory produced 14 different models, reaching a total volume of just over 2.4 million units between 1953 and its closure. in 1991.
