Germany voted. Almost all of Germany. Only in Berlin were thousands unable to vote. Not right, anyway.
The worst thing about the election chaos in the red-red-green governed capital is that it is now considered normal that they cannot. A completely overwhelmed administration and judiciary, blatant housing shortage, the nightmare airport BER.

I am ashamed of the capital city of political amateurs. Who do not even manage to organize free, equal and secret elections FOR EVERYONE.
It is an expression of a lack of decency towards the people who (have to) live in the city.
The only consequence of this is that the regional returning officer, a senior senate officer, gives up her office. As if anyone cares!
If the politicians of the red-red-green Senate had respect for fundamental rights, they would have to have this irregular election repeated.
But of course they won’t. Despite unconstitutional violations, the election result will stand. It suits the rulers.
