Election of Vice President….Jagdeep Dhankar on behalf of BJP
Venkaiah Naidu’s tenure as Vice President will end on August 10. Thus, it has been announced that the election will be held on August 6. Since July 19 is the last day for filing nominations, a BJP Parliamentary Committee meeting was held in Delhi to select the candidate. In this, BJP National President JP Natta, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and others participated. Later, speaking to the media, JP Natta announced that the current Governor of West Bengal, Jagdeep Dhankar, will contest as the candidate of the National Democratic Party. Prime Minister Modi said that he is happy to have Jagdeep Dhankar as the candidate who has worked for the welfare of farmers, youth, women and marginalized people.
