According to the details, a delegation of refugees from Occupied Jammu and Kashmir living in the President’s House of Pakistan met President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad. Asif Zardari rejected the Legislative Assembly elections in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. That the international community should hold the Modi government accountable for the ongoing human rights violations in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, concrete steps should be taken to hold a referendum in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

The delegation also informed the President about the problems of refugees in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Taking measures, Azad Jammu and Kashmir government will be asked to increase the living allowance, give more relief to the refugees.
President Asif Ali Zardari says that 8 thousand migrant families will be facilitated through the Benazir Income Support Program. The delegation thanked the President for the ongoing moral, political and diplomatic support of Pakistan for the Kashmiri people. He also appreciated the role and efforts of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
