Elon Musk and your company Tesla they are still working on the development of their humanoid robot which, at an undetermined time, will help humans free themselves from heavy and repetitive tasks. Optimus, as the device is known, which is still in the development phase at the moment, could also be used by users to store their memories and personality inside. Or, at least, that’s what Musk would like.
This was stated by the mogul during an interview with ‘Business Insider’, in which he did not offer any details on how he could achieve it and when he expects it to be a reality. It should be remembered that, for the time being, the robot is no more than a prototype.
“Humanoid robots are coming. The rate of advancement of artificial intelligence is very fast, “said the executive. On the possibility of starting to store user memories, Musk pointed out that it is one of the functionalities that he manages for the future: “We could download the things that we believe make us unique. Now, of course, if you’re not in that body anymore, it’s definitely going to make a difference, but as far as preserving our memories, our personality, I think we could do it.”
Be that as it may, the user should not expect the Optimus robot to be able to perform these actions in the medium-term future, since, as we have explained, it is still at a very early stage of development. Regarding the shipment of Starlink units to the country governed by Zelensky, the executive said that, at the moment the request arrived from the country, “everything was quickly put into operation.” He also explained that he believes that Vladimir Putin “is much richer” than him.
In this regard, it should be remembered that Musk is one of the executives of large technology companies who has turned to Ukraine the most in recent weeks. He even went so far as to challenge Vladimir Putin in which the future of the invaded country would be decided.
