While the Head of State will preside over a national tribute to Jacques Delors this Friday at Les Invalides during which he will deliver a eulogy, some socialists clearly fear a recovery operation. Many heads of state and government, including Hungarian nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban, as well as leaders of community institutions are expected at the ceremony, which was prepared with the PS mayor of Lille and daughter of Jacques Delors, Martine Aubry, who will not speak.
