Riyadh: The Musned Platform under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has informed that employers are fully responsible for receiving domestic workers who return home for vacation at Saudi airports. Seven international airports in the country have facilities to receive domestic workers, including housemaids, who are on vacation.
Musned stated that this facility is available at Riyadh King Khalid Airport, Dammam King Fahd Airport, Amir Naif Airport in Qasim, Amir Mohammed Airport in Madinah and Hail, Al-Ahsa and Abaha International Airports. Musned informed that employers are obliged to receive domestic workers directly from the airport and can contact 920002866 for more information.
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawasat) had earlier announced that it is the responsibility of recruiting offices to accept domestic workers who come to Saudi Arabia for the first time and hand them over to their employers, and employers should directly accept those who come with exit-re-entry visas.
