according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the visitor allegedly struck one of the EMTs with a bag filled with a white powder, which dispersed into the air. Shortly after, one of the EMTs began exhibiting symptoms resembling an overdose. Medical personnel administered multiple doses of Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, and the EMT was admitted to the hospital for further treatment.The second EMT also reported experiencing mild symptoms.
Initial testing suggested the white powder may be a controlled substance, though authorities have not yet released details about the specific substance involved. Deputies were dispatched to the hospital around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, but the suspect had already left the scene.
The suspect, identified as Tracy Ann Davidson, returned to the hospital shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday. Deputies then arrested Davidson and she is now facing charges of third-degree assault, first-degree disorderly conduct, and harassment.
