Abahani Limited’s Enamul Haque Bijay scored his first century in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) this season. However, Abahani took the win based on his century. Abahani won their seventh consecutive win in the ongoing DPL by defeating Gazi Group Cricketers by 7 wickets.
Gazi scored 204 runs after losing all wickets in 44.4 overs, batting first at BKSP’s ground number 3, thanks to opener Mehdi Maruf’s half-century. Abahani reached the goal of victory with 7 wickets in hand in response to Enamul’s century. Enamul remained unbeaten on 107 runs after scoring his 19th century in List A cricket.
Gazi started losing wickets from the beginning due to the power of Abahani’s bowlers. At one end, the Maruf wicket is standing, but at the other end, the procession continues. Maruf scored 60 runs off 73 balls for the team. Among the rest, 41 runs came from the bat of Habibur Rahman Sohan. Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi scored 26 runs.

However, Enamul played like himself at one end and took the first century of the season. Vijay remained unbeaten scoring 107 runs off 118 balls with 7 fours and 4 sixes. Saifuddin remained unbeaten on 18 runs.
