Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak, who took office as the country’s new prime minister after the political changes in England, promised that England would continue to support Ukraine in its war against Russia.
Rishi Sunak has gone to Ukraine today for the first time after taking office as Prime Minister. In Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, he met the president of the country Zelensky in person. During the meeting, Rishi Sunak announced an additional $60 million in military aid to Ukraine.
Rishi Sunak, who has posted about this meeting on his Twitter page, has posted, “England knows very well what it means to fight for freedom. The bravery of the people of Ukraine is a great inspiration to this world.”
