The club football tournaments which were stopped for a certain period due to the FIFA World Cup are starting again.

There will be six matches today when the Premier League, which is described as the most entertaining league in European leagues due to the speed of the game and the style of play, starts. The Premier League starts today with the Tottenham-Brentford match at 6 pm Indian time.
After that, there will be four matches namely Southampton-Brighton, Leicester City-New Castle United, Crystal Palace-Fulham and Everton-Wolves at 8:30 Indian time.
Arsenal, a London club, is currently at the top of the points table in the Premier League. Manchester City, the defending champions, are right behind Arsenal.
Arsenal have 37 points from 14 matches while City have 32 points from the same number of matches. This season’s upset heroes in the Premier League, Newcastle United are third with 30 points from 15 matches, while Tottenham are fourth with 29 points from 15 matches and Manchester United are fifth with 26 points from 14 matches.
The top four teams in the points table qualify directly for next year’s UEFA Champions League.
