EOP: The National Track Team with Harova and Savvaki are Balkan champions

•12 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals the harvest of our representative group

Great success for the National Track Cycling Team at the Balkan Championships held in Bulgaria.
Our representative group won 1st place, having in its composition two cyclists from Rodilios. They are Miltiadis Harovas and Stamatis Savvakis, who significantly helped the National Team to be crowned Balkan champions.
Note that the National Team won a total of 20 medals (12 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze).
In detail, the announcement issued by the EEA for information states the following:
“The harvest of medals won by the athletes of the Greek delegation of the E.O.P. is rich. at the Balkan Track Cycling Championships, which took place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Congratulations to all members of the expedition who worked hard during the 3 days of competition.
The 3rd and last day of the games had many emotions and strong performances, which gave wings to the feet of all the sportsmen and women who competed. The report at the end of the event was amazing! 7 medals of which 5 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze are the results of the third competition day.
Also, our National Team emerged as the champion team and won the admiration of all the Balkan missions that took part, leaving the Turkish National Team in 2nd place and the Romanian National Team in 3rd place.

ELITE MEN’S KEIRIN: First place, 1st place Livanos Konstantinos, 5th place Savvakis Stamatis.
KEIRIN FOR YOUNG MEN: First place, 1st place Theoharis Spyros, 7th place Theodoridis Pantelis
WOMEN’S POINTS RACE: First place, 1st place Milaki Argyro
JUNIOR POINTS RACE: First and fourth place with: 2nd place Kokkali Vasiliki and 6th place Farfara Konstantina
TEENAGE POINTS COMPETITION: 3rd place Polyderopoulos Alexandros, 9th place Manthos Nikolaos
MEN’S POINTS RACE: 5th place Soulios Zisis
MEN’S ELIMINATION: 1st place Soulios Zisis
JUNIOR WOMEN’S MATTISON: First place with Kokkali Vasiliki and Farfara Konstantina.
TEENAGE ELIMINATION: 4th place Polyderopoulos Alexandros, 8th place Manthos Nikolaos
The National Team was accompanied by the coaches: Lambros Vassilopoulos, Giorgos Varverakis, Stergios Salpadimos.
