Epidemic Sound’s AI-Powered Studio Now Integrated Directly into Adobe Premiere Pro
The new integration dramatically reduces soundtracking time for video creators, offering legally safe, high-quality audio within their existing workflow.
Stockholm, Sweden – December 16, 2025 – Epidemic Sound, a leading global soundtracking platform, today announced the integration of its AI-powered workflow, Studio, directly within the Adobe Premiere Pro plugin. This update empowers Epidemic Sound subscribers to instantly draft cohesive soundtracks for their video projects without leaving the industry-standard Non-Linear Editor (NLE) used by millions of creators worldwide, including brands, professional videographers, freelancers, online content creators, and YouTubers.
The integration addresses a significant pain point for video editors: the time-consuming process of sourcing and syncing music and sound effects. According to a company release, Studio cuts soundtracking time from hours to seconds by seamlessly matching and placing sound effects and human-made music to video content. While editing in Premiere Pro, creators can now simply highlight specific sections of their video, and Studio will leverage artificial intelligence and data insights to deliver a first draft of a legally cleared soundtrack synced to the visuals.
The resulting soundtrack incorporates high-fidelity WAV and MP3 files of music from Epidemic Sound’s roster of artists, alongside Hollywood-grade ambient noises and foley sound effects designed to enhance the viewing experience. “We know that millions of the world’s creators use Adobe Premiere Pro as their editor of choice, and for them, every minute saved is crucial,” stated Sam Hall, Chief Product Officer at Epidemic Sound. “By integrating Studio directly into creators’ native workflows, we eliminate time spent switching interfaces and power them with instant, cohesive soundtrack drafts in seconds. While AI streamlines the process, the human remains firmly in the loop, maintaining creative control to refine that rough cut into their final output.”
This move represents Epidemic Sound’s continued investment in AI-driven tools to streamline the creative process. The integration not only saves time but also provides essential legal safety, ensuring creators can confidently use the music and sound effects in their projects. Furthermore, it supports fair compensation and increased distribution for the artists whose work is featured on the platform. The updated Studio workflow also offers expanded creative control, allowing users to move, extend, trim, or adjust the volume of individual audio clips directly within the Premiere Pro timeline.
The launch of Studio within Premiere Pro follows the release of Epidemic Sound’s soundtracking Assistant and the music adaptation tool, Adapt, both of which aim to enhance artist remuneration and empower creators with greater control over their audio. Adapt, in particular, introduced an additional bonus pool for artists while enabling creators to easily customize music for their content.
To access the new functionality, users can download the Epidemic Sound Adobe Premiere Pro plugin from Adobe Exchange. Alternatively, Studio is also available as a web-based tool at www.epidemicsound.com/tools/studio.
