Another “first” in visitor satisfaction is recorded by Epirus, in the latest statistical report of the Institute of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises and in the Greece Reputation Tracker study, respectively.
According to the 2023 report card, Epirus ranked highest among the rest of Greece’s regions in terms of visitor satisfaction with a Net Promoter Score of 69, followed by the Cyclades with 67 and Western Macedonia with 64. The Net Promoter Score (Net Promoter Score Supporters) is an indicator that in the marketing industry measures the degree of customer trust.
The Hoteliers’ Association of the Ioannina prefecture expresses its satisfaction with this development, noting that these figures come to seal, once again, the high level of services provided by all tourism professionals, but primarily it is a collective award. “This success is due on the one hand to the professionalism of employees and businessmen, on the other hand to the culture of hospitality that distinguishes the residents of the area. Now the visitor, Greek or foreigner, coming to Epirus knows that he will receive good treatment from the hotel and restaurant he chooses, to the taxi he will use or the contacts he will have with the locals”, he notes and adds that an important characteristic what makes our region stand out is its uniqueness, as in close proximity you can find amazing beaches and enchanting mountain villages, unexplored landscapes and cosmopolitan urban centers, ancient monuments and modern entertainment.
It is worth noting that, according to previous surveys by INSETE, in recent years, Epirus is either in the first place, or very high in the ranking among the rest of Greece’s regions in terms of visitor satisfaction. “This is another example of the consistency and reliability of the professionals but also of all those who come into contact with our visitors”, concludes the Association.
