jpnn.comKABANJAHE – BUMN Minister Erick Thohir continues to invite the younger generation, especially Gen Z, to understand more about digital literacy.
Erick Thohir, through his staff, especially Arya Sinulingga, expressed the importance of digital literacy at the 22nd Gen Z Talent Activation event held for all students at SMA Negeri 1 Kabanjahe, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, Thursday (15/3).
“Mr Erick asked me to go to the regions to provide education to Gen Z, because today’s children are different from our time. Some people don’t like being hit suddenly bully “through fake accounts on social media,” said Arya in his official statement received, Saturday (16/3).
Arya further said that millennials and Gen Z were ranked second as the largest group of internet users in Indonesia.
For this reason, understanding good digital literacy is very important to be more selective in receiving information.
“Mr Erick really does too concern with his name mental health (mental health). If you have symptoms in that direction or feel depressed, please open up and tell someone close to you or a psychologist. “Don’t keep it to yourself because this is dangerous,” advised Arya.
Meanwhile, the Principal of SMAN 1 Kabanjahe Eddyanto Bangun expressed his gratitude for the honor of his school being appointed by Minister Erick Thohir and BUMN as the location for holding the Gen Z Talent Activation.
“This is a very good opportunity for children to know more about BUMN, the importance of digitalization, and mental health in the younger generation,” said Eddyanto.
