Chennai: The Election Commission has accepted the list of star speakers provided by EPS for the Erode East by-election.
Parties are required to submit to the Election Commission a list of star speakers campaigning in favor of a candidate contesting an election. The Election Commission will approve this. According to this, parties approved by the Election Commission can provide a list of 40 star speakers and parties registered with the Election Commission can provide a list of 20 people.
In this case, Edappadi Palaniswami and O. Panneerselvam have given a separate list of star speakers to campaign in the Erode East by-elections. After considering this, the Election Commission has accepted the list of star speakers provided by EPS. The names of 40 people including AIADMK Interim General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami and House President Tamil son Usen have been included.
