Escubedo from Girona installs more than 1,000 solar panels

Escubedo from Girona has installed 1,368 solar panels at its headquarters, in Riudellots de la Creu. In this way, the company of connection systems contributes to the achievement of its objective of minimizing the level of impacts on the environment caused by its activities, as detailed by SolarProfit, the company that has carried out the installation, in a statement.

Thanks to this project, Escubedo avoids the annual emission of more than 303 tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere, amount equivalent to what 1,520 trees would absorb in 30 years of life, they state in their writing. This commitment to photovoltaic self-consumption allows you to guarantee a lower impact of your activity, since, thanks to this installation, Escubedo generates 849.7 MWh of energy per yearan amount equivalent to more than 25% of the electricity consumption of its headquarters.

The company has production plants in Spain, Turkey and Mexico and an extensive global distribution network that includes headquarters in the United States, China and Brazil (among others), Escubedo connects more than 50 countries and produces more than 4 billion components a year.
