Viewpoints between two authors who have just devoted books to drugs. The first deals with the history of essential drugs such as aspirin, antibiotics or the contraceptive pill… The second with questions posed by the difficulties of access to health innovations, which raise questions about the economy of pharmaceutical products and the role played by major laboratories, despite their official commitment in terms of investment in Public Health.
How does this drug economy, this commercial logic resist ethically to the realities and difficulties specific to the health situation of the African continent?
At the opening of the program, we invite you to give the floor to two French doctors, the Professor Raphael Pitti and the Dr Pierre Catoire. Ils have just spent a week in Ukraine, close to the front line, providing training in emergency medicine to Ukrainian doctors. They will describe to us the health situation on site and the nature of their mission in Lviv and Kharkiv.
