European Cups 2015/16 for Armenian teams. the draw is over. For the first time, 3 Armenian teams: “Pyunik”, “Shirak” and “Alashkert” successfully overcame the barrier of the first round and qualified for the next round. Moreover, in the opening matches of the first round, none of our 4 clubs lost, celebrating 3 victories, ending one game in a draw.
In the matches of the 2nd round, progress was made compared to the previous seasons. If “Mika” celebrated the only victory among our teams in the 26 matches held in the 2nd round before that, “Pyunik” and “Alashkert” won their first victories this year.
However, as in the previous draws, this time the ban of the 2nd round remained insurmountable for the Armenian clubs.
In the current draw, the 4 Armenian clubs played a total of 14 games, out of which they won 6, drew one, and lost 7. Our football players scored 13 times on the opponent’s goal, and missed 22 own goals.
