A beverage service company founded by Evelin Vogel, the ex-girlfriend of Hungarian political figure Péter Magyar, is facing dissolution after losing its valid tax number. The company, Larcane Art Bar Kft., co-founded with Ukrainian model Arina Vorobjova, is currently undergoing “ex officio cancellation” due to administrative issues.
The situation highlights increasing scrutiny surrounding Vogel’s business dealings, coming after previous involvement in a home furnishing company and a contentious dispute over audio recordings.
On November 25, 2025, the Hungarian tax authority formally notified the commercial court of its decision to delete Larcane Art Bar Kft.’s tax number and initiate the company’s termination. The primary reason cited for this action was the company’s failure to establish an official electronic contact – a company portal – as required by law. Prior to this, the company court had ordered Larcane Art Bar Kft. to pay HUF 100,000 in taxes to the NAV (National Tax and Customs Administration) within 60 days of the order becoming final.
Previous Business Ventures and Controversies
This is not vogel’s first foray into entrepreneurship. Reports from HVG indicate that in 2023, she co-founded Cozy Living kft., a home furnishing company, alongside her siblings and other individuals. However, Vogel exited Cozy Living Kft. in April 2024.
Beyond her business ventures, Vogel was also involved in a high-profile dispute in 2024 with the Tisza Party. She reportedly demanded HUF 30 million (approximately $85,000 USD) in exchange for her silence regarding audio recordings published by the party. According to reports, the audio material circulated widely in media outlets aligned with the government, but ultimately contained no substantial or incriminating details.
Implications of the Art Bar’s Closure
The closure of Larcane Art Bar Kft. raises questions about the financial stability and administrative oversight of Vogel’s business portfolio. The lack of a functioning company portal, a relatively straightforward requirement, suggests potential organizational challenges. The situation underscores the importance of maintaining compliance with Hungarian tax regulations for all businesses operating within the country.

The unfolding events surrounding Vogel’s business activities continue to attract attention, particularly given her connection to a prominent political figure and the recent controversies she has faced.
