The department may make many claims, but the truth is that many teachers are still not reaching school on time. This is revealed when inspection is carried out or when guardians complain. Investigation based on a complaint by a guardian revealed that teachers do not reach school on time and the children are also very weak.

Anita Devi, a female guardian of Phulwaria village of Bathnaha block of the district, had filed a case with the PGRO last month. His complaint was that the head teacher of Primary School, Vidyalaya, Baitha Tol, Vakil Alam, teacher Rekha Bharti and Suruchi Kumari do not come to school on time. They don’t even pay attention to children’s education. On the complaint, PGRO Sadar asked for investigation report from Bathnaha BEO. The BEO got the allegations investigated by Block Sadhansevi Ram Vijay Mahato and Satyanarayan Singh. On the day of investigation, both of them (investigators) had found that the school was conducting classes at 10:10 am. Head teachers and female teachers are present. During the investigation, 10-15 parents unanimously complained about the head and both the teachers not coming to school on time. However, the three accused denied the allegations before the investigating officers.
Pradhan’s amazing argument!
During the investigation the head teacher gave a surprising argument. He said that children come to school at 8 in the morning and start playing. When someone asks, the children tell that the teacher has not come. Pradhan argued that the villagers feel that teachers do not come on time. Hearing this argument, the investigating officers instructed Pradhan to come to school on time and take photos with Notecam and put them on WhatsApp. It was found that some children were not able to write their name and address.
PGRO gave strict instructions
However, the teachers talked about conducting classes for weak children under Mission Daksh. In the light of the report, PGRO has commented that teaching and learning work is not being done regularly in the said school. MDM is also not being made as per the menu. Teachers are not discharging their responsibilities. The litigation proceedings have been ended with instructions to the BEO to improve the school system.
