As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, participants in the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, athletes from Ireland Holly Hilton and Emma Slevin, said this.
“I like Baku, it feels like it’s becoming more and more beautiful every time. The competitions here are wonderful, there are good gymnastics equipment, a training room – there are all the conditions for training on site. The Baku public is warmly supportive, and the emotional mood for the athletes is extremely important. And the audience in Baku supports all gymnasts, regardless of what country they represent,” said Holly Hilton.
“High-level gymnasts, strong competitors, came to the World Cup in Baku. Our task at the competition is to perform well, try to reach the finals, and of course, gain new experience. There is practically no competition between us, we try to be a united team,” added Emma Slevin.
It should be noted that the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is taking place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on March 7-10. Representatives from 67 countries take part in the competition.
