Manish Singh, Noida: There was panic in many schools of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday when a bomb threat email was received simultaneously. These schools also include DPS located in Noida and Greno West. Amidst the chaos, parents brought their children back home. The children of the junior wing were sent messages and refused to come to school. Holidays were declared in many schools. Parents remained worried for hours. Parents got worried after seeing the bomb squad in the school. All schools were evacuated immediately.
In this regard, parent Kapil Sharma said that due to the bomb threat, most of the parents had come into panic mode. However, the school administration managed the children very well and sent them home. This is an example that makes us aware of how our emergency situations can be handled.
People arrived to pick up children during class: Vijay Srivastava
Vijay Srivastava, another parent resident of Noida, said that there were bomb threats in many schools today, due to which we were worried. Our children study in Ryan International School. Many parents had reached there to pick up their children during class. However, an assurance message was sent by the school that no such mail has been received and all the children are safe.
This is an open threat to law and order: Amit Rishi
Pallavi Rai, resident of Sector-105, Noida, said that the person sending such e-mail should be immediately taken into custody and strict action should be taken against him. So that no one can dare to do such a thing in future. Another parent, Amit Rishi, said that such incidents happen every year. Last year, on the same date, there was a threat to bomb DPS Mathura Road. As a parent this is extremely worrying. Whenever this happens it is an open threat to the security and law and order of the state. I appeal to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to please look into this matter and take as strict action as possible.
All children safe, threat was false: Sonia Sharma
Chief Secretary of International Human Rights Commission India, Sonia Sharma said that all the children are safe. Someone had given a false threat of bombing. Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissionerate’s Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order Shivhari Meena conducted a search operation along with the bomb disposal squad and fire brigade. After investigation the incident has been declared a rumour. After this the parents took a sigh of relief.
