– To my shame, I don’t watch much. And if I watch, then, as a rule, the classics are something that one cannot help but know: Fassbinder, Bergman… Recently my wife and I rewatched the early films of Kusturica. And from the modern – I see only what everyone is talking about and seems to be no longer possible to ignore. For example, I watched a couple of episodes of “The Young Pope” and something else. There is, however, one type of TV series that we watch regularly, before going to bed. In general, my wife and I usually read something out loud at night. We choose texts that sound good: Gogol, Leskov, Sasha Sokolov. Or poetry: Mayakovsky, Brodsky… But if you are already completely tired, then we watch TV series to calm down. And usually these are detectives.
