Presenter Mola Adebisi recounts a worrying incident: he and his pregnant wife were involved in an accident on the highway.
The past few months have actually gone like clockwork for former Viva star Mola Adebisi and his partner Adelina Zilai: the two got engaged last year and announced in January that they were expecting children together for the first time. The wedding in Las Vegas followed a few weeks after the announcement. However, now the couple shared less happy news.
The 51-year-old posted a photo of his badly damaged vehicle in his Instagram story. “I think that’s it for our beloved Mini,” he wrote. The car was involved in a car accident, Mola Adebisi then reported to “Bild”. “We had just come from the prenatal clinic and were on the A52. Then the scene happened. There was a small truck in front of us and a 3.5-ton truck came rushing up from behind. At that moment you just function still.”
“We were lucky”
A severe shock for the expectant parents. “Then of course there’s immediate worry about the baby. But we were lucky. The adrenaline is in our bodies. We both have a little headache, but we’re happy with how it turned out,” Mola Adebisi gives the all-clear. Nevertheless, the couple played it safe and had a check-up done at the hospital on the advice of a police officer. “Adelina is doing well again. We’re looking forward to her due date in July,” said the TV star.
Fortunately, the two of them escaped unscathed, but unfortunately their vehicle did not survive the impact unscathed. The material damage amounts to around 10,000 euros, says Mola Adebisi. The car was completely demolished.
