Exhibition: the painter Sam Szafran honored at the Musée de l’Orangerie

It is a little known and yet major artist that the Musée de l’Orangerie has chosen to highlight. Sam Szafran, who died 3 years ago, leaves a singular work on the fringes of the currents of art history. He focused all his life on a closed world, that of his immediate environment and yet multiplied pictorial experiences. Hence the title of the exhibition “Sam Szafran, Obsessions of a Painter”.
