Former BJP minister Harak Singh Rawat has lamented that he was expelled from the Uttarakhand cabinet and party without saying a word to him. The video, in which he tearfully says he was never even discussed about being expelled from the party, is now viral.

Meanwhile, he predicted that the Uttarakhand Congress would win in the coming assembly elections and he would now co-operate with the Congress. He also announced that he would work for Congress. He denied reports that he had earlier held talks with the Congress.

On Tuesday night, former forest minister Harak Singh Rawat was expelled from the cabinet and the party. The party’s move comes amid strong indications that Rawat may return to Congress. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhomi has informed the Governor about the dismissal of the minister. Harak Singh Rawat was one of the ten MLAs who defected to the BJP in 2016 in protest against Congress leader Harish Rawat.
