Tokyo DisneySea unveiled “Peter Pan’s Neverland,” an area themed after the Disney movie “Peter Pan,” at the media preview of the new themed port “Fantasy Springs,” scheduled to open on June 6th.
In “Peter Pan’s Neverland,” where the world of “Peter Pan” expands, you can enjoy an epic adventure set in Neverland, where you and Peter Pan and Tinkerbell rescue their friends from Captain Hook and the pirates. Attractions include “Neverland Adventure” and “Fairy Tinkerbell’s Busy Buggy” where you can experience fun rides created by Tinkerbell. At Lookout Cookout, a restaurant created by Lost Kids, you can enjoy a meal while immersing yourself in the world view.
At the press preview held this time, I had the opportunity to experience this area ahead of time, so in this article I will share with you what it was like.

Lookout Cookout, a hideout restaurant for lost kids
Lookout Cookout is a counter service restaurant with approximately 200 seats. The interior is playful and evokes a sense of nostalgia, with the image of a hideout created by lost kids. The materials used for the building are the remains of ships that were shipwrecked and drifted to Neverland, as well as floating objects, creating a unique atmosphere.
Additionally, there are items such as pajamas and hammocks that the Lost Kids use on a daily basis, giving you a glimpse into their lives.
The menu offered here is inspired by the movie “Peter Pan”, such as “Lost Kids Snack Box”, “Lookout Brownie”, and “Pixie Dust Soda”, and you can only get it here. Items that come with souvenirs are also available.
In the “Peter Pan’s Neverland” area, there will also be a wagon selling popcorn (roast beef flavor) in a popcorn bucket modeled after the nighttime clock tower that appears in the movie. The exterior of the wagon looks like a ship made from old boards in various colors, giving it the feel of being handmade by the Lost Kids.
Attraction “Fairy Tinkerbell’s Busy Buggy” in Fairy Valley “Pixie Hollow”
“Fairy Tinkerbell’s Busy Buggy” is an indoor attraction located in Pixie Hollow, the fairy valley in Neverland. Riding on the “Busy Buggy”, a vehicle created by Tinker Bell, we will travel through the four seasons of Fairy Valley.
Once you pass through the entrance, you’ll see giant flowers, mushrooms, paint, bitten cheese, and more, making you feel like you’re a tiny fairy just like Tinkerbell.
The “Busy Buggy” that guests ride in is a vehicle designed to deliver packages, and it whirls around and around on the way, passing by various scenery and creatures as it moves in a hurry. The first destination is “Summer Wetlands”. Continuing on, we cross the “Autumn Forest” and “Winter Forest” before heading to our final stop, “Spring Valley.” There are many things to see inside the attraction, such as giant plants and comical-looking insects, but the time it takes from the start to the goal is quite short, about 2 minutes. I can’t deny that it’s unsatisfactory, but I felt like I could discover something new each time by riding it over and over again.
By the way, when I experienced it, it was raining quite a bit. This attraction seems to operate even in rainy weather, but it doesn’t have a roof and you can’t ride with an umbrella, so it’s recommended to prepare a raincoat in case the weather is bad.
Excellent floating feeling! Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure is an attraction where you can enjoy an epic adventure.
“Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure” is an indoor attraction where you can enjoy an epic adventure set in Neverland, where you and Peter Pan and Tinkerbell rescue Captain Hook and his friends from pirates. During the adventure, many characters that appear in the story, such as mermaids and Tiger Lily, appear.
Inside the attraction, you can listen to songs that are familiar from the movie, and you can enjoy developments that follow the story, such as when Tinkerbell sprinkles fairy dust on a boat and the boat flies into the sky. From the ticking sound of the crocodile to the powerful battle with Captain Hook to the fantastical finale, this attraction allows you to fully enjoy the world of the timeless masterpiece “Peter Pan,” full of humor and fantasy.
Guests can enjoy impressive images using the 3D goggles they put on before riding the attraction. Additionally, since the vehicle moves in time with the video, during the scenes of flying through the sky, you can experience the floating and exhilarating feeling of actually floating in the air. Although there are scenes where there is a lot of movement up and down, it’s not as violent as a roller coaster, so I think even people who aren’t good at screaming scenes can enjoy it.
Fans of the original work will of course enjoy it, and if you haven’t seen the movie yet, I think this attraction will be a great opportunity to watch it. We highly recommend you to experience it when you visit Fantasy Springs.
In addition to attractions and restaurants, the “Peter Pan’s Neverland” area features Captain Hook’s pirate ship “Jolly Roger” and decorations related to pirates throughout. You can also board the Jolly Roger and explore every nook and cranny. Fans will also be happy with the small tricks, such as being able to hear the pirates’ humorous conversations from anywhere on the ship. Please visit Fantasy Springs, which opens on June 6th, and experience it for yourself.
