F1 Teams Accelerate Commercial Partnerships Ahead of 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix

As Formula 1 prepares to descend upon Las Vegas for the 2025 Grand Prix, three teams – McLaren Racing, Aston Martin, and Racing Bulls – have announced significant commercial partnerships poised to enhance their presence both on and off the track. These deals underscore the growing appeal of F1 as a global marketing platform and the strategic importance of the Las Vegas race, a premier event on the F1 calendar.

McLaren Racing Deepens Alliance with Google, Leveraging AI Innovation

McLaren Racing has extended its existing partnership with tech giant Google, solidifying a collaboration that began in early 2022 and was further reinforced ahead of the 2024 F1 campaign. The renewed agreement centers on Google’s cutting-edge AI assistant technology, Gemini, which will be integrated into various aspects of the team’s operations.

Gemini’s debut within the partnership occurred at the United States Grand Prix in October, with branding prominently displayed on the team’s cars and racing suits. Beyond Gemini, the collaboration encompasses a range of Google products, including Pixel, Android, Google Health Devices, and Google Cloud.

During the Las Vegas race weekend, scheduled to culminate late on Saturday, November 22, Google plans a “dynamic creative” installation on the Sphere, the iconic Las Vegas entertainment venue. This display will showcase the McLaren Formula 1 car undergoing real-time visual transformations. According to McLaren Racing’s chief executive, “The introduction of Gemini marks an exciting next step, helping us continually explore how AI can support our team both on and off the track.” Google will continue as a primary partner of McLaren, a team poised to win the 2025 constructors’ title and potentially secure the drivers’ championship with either Lando Norris or Oscar Piastri. McLaren also recently added information management brand Iron Mountain as a new commercial partner in mid-October.

Aston Martin Forges Multi-Year HR Partnership with UKG

Aston Martin has entered into a multi-year agreement with UKG, a leading provider of human resources, payroll, and workforce management solutions. The partnership aims to leverage data-driven insights to optimize performance both at the racetrack and within the Aston Martin Racing Technology Campus.

“It’s our shared values of data, innovation, and team performance that make this partnership with Aston Martin Aramco the perfect fit for our global brands,” explained a UKG spokesperson. Currently seventh in the 10-team F1 constructors’ standings, Aston Martin’s commercial portfolio is anchored by title sponsorship from Aramco, alongside prominent sponsors such as Maaden, Cognizant, Pepperstone, Xerox, Puma, Glenfiddich, and Boss.

Racing Bulls Taps Yaamava Resort & Casino for Las Vegas Activation

Racing Bulls, the junior team affiliated with Red Bull Racing, has partnered with Yaamava Resort & Casino, focusing on activations at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The collaboration will feature viewing parties for both qualifying and the race, as well as appearances by Racing Bulls chief executive Peter Bayer and driver Liam Lawson. The Yaamava Resort & Casino logo will also be prominently displayed on the rear wing endplate of the Racing Bulls’ cars throughout the race weekend.

“Through this partnership, we’re thrilled to bring the energy of the Las Vegas Grand Prix directly to the guests of Yaamava’s Resort & Casino,” Bayer commented. “This collaboration allows us to create truly memorable experiences for fans off the track at one of the most electric races of the season.” Currently sixth in the 2025 constructors’ table, 10 points ahead of Aston Martin, Racing Bulls is officially known as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) following a title sponsorship deal unveiled in early 2024.
