(ANSA) – ROME, DEC 14 – CarNext, one of the leading B2C and B2B online marketplaces for used cars in Europe, announces today that Max Verstappen, Formula One world champion, will sell his Honda Civic Type R “work car” on CarNext.com, after the conclusion of the 2021 Formula One championship. The car will go on sale on December 23 for 33,333 euros, and the proceeds will go to the charity selected by CarNext, RedBull’s Wings for Life. Verstappen used his custom Honda to hit F1 tracks around the world throughout the season. As with every vehicle on the CarNext platform, Max’s car was checked and completely reconditioned before sale and can be viewed on the CarNext website from 14 December. The “first come first served” rule will be followed and CarNext will deliver the car to the lucky customer’s home. Once the purchase is complete, CarNext will donate all proceeds to ‘Wings for Life’, the non-profit foundation created by two-time motocross world champion Heinz Kinigadner and Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz in 2004, who supports care for spinal cord injuries and paraplegia. “I am very happy that my car contributes to a good cause like the one supported by Wings for Life – the comment of Verstappen – and I have relied on my partner CarNext to make sure that the sale is in good hands. To ‘greet’ it. my Honda, I took it for a final lap, as you can see in the campaign. I hope the new owner can enjoy his driving as much as I do. ” (HANDLE).
