jpnn.com – The extension of Fabio Quartararo’s contract at Yamaha until 2026 finally puts to rest rumors that the French racer will leave the Japanese factory team.
Yamaha revealed that Fabio Quartararo chose to stay for the next two seasons, because there was a strong commitment from them.

“It is with great pleasure that Yamaha Motor Co., Signed. announces Fabio Quartararo as a Yamaha factory racer for the 2025 and 2026 MotoGP seasons,” wrote Yamaha’s official statement.
Even though he tried to recover, Quartararo’s achievements were quite impressive.
The reason is, the racer from Spain has won the title of champion in 2021, and runner in the following season.
In detail, Quartararo has won 16 pole positions, 8 wins and 21 podiums while defending Yamaha in MotoGP.
However, since last season its performance has declined because the Yamaha YZR M1 is unable to compete with other motorbikes.
