SpaceX conducted a video broadcast of the launch from the Cape Canaveral launch site in the US state of Florida of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft.
It is specified that the launch was carried out using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle.
“The rocket with a crew of four took off … at 17:37 local time,” the statement said.
The mission includes former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, businessman John Schoffner and two astronauts from Saudi Arabia – Ali al-Karni and Rayana Barnau.
