New York:

There is a 22-story skyscraper in New York City called the Flatiron. Built in 1902, the building is famous for its slender, triangular shape.

This New York landmark building has been vacant since 2019. The 100-year-old building changed hands and finally ended up in the hands of a real estate firm.

The real estate company decided to auction the building ‘Blatiron’. Following this, a private auction house from New York conducted the auction two days ago.

Its managing partner Jacob Garlick, who participated in the auction on behalf of investment fund Abraham Trust, bid for the ‘Blatiron’ building for $190 billion (about Rs. 1,564 crore).
