Farense won this Sunday against Estoril Praia 3-2, in the 32nd round of the 1st Football League, a result that definitively guarantees the Algarve team’s maintenance in the Portuguese top flight.
The Algarve team, which recorded its second consecutive victory in the competition, held an advantage of two goals, after goals from Gonçalo Silva (36 minutes) and Matheus Oliveira (45), still allowing the ‘canarinhos’, who were behind two matches without losing, equal, with goals from Fabrício (45+2) and Rodrigo Gomes (52), but Bruno Duarte (65) scored the winning goal for the Faro team.
With this victory, Farense reaches eighth place, with 37 points, with maintenance already assured, while Estoril remains in 13th, with 33, very close to maintenance, with a five point advantage over Portimonense, in place maintenance play-off, when there are only two rounds left until the end of the championship.
