As İdman.biz reports, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gaibov said this at the premiere of the ministry’s next project, “This is not the end – Rustam Imanzadeh.”
The minister said that this is not the first film they are making about athletes and coaches:
“We have been making films like this for 2 years now. Sometimes we have partners. In this case, everything becomes more convenient. We thank them for their support. Sometimes we make such films ourselves, without partners. Such steps should become an example for our other federations. There should be more films like this. I believe you all will like it. I think this is an interesting and unusual film. There are certain ways to achieve good results in weightlifting. The title of the film also suggests that the meaning here is somewhat different. He tells people to never be sad and that it will never end, even if there are difficulties.”
He emphasized that Rustam Imanzade is a positive person:
“His positive attitude makes me believe that his results and life will be full of more positive things. I wish him and our other athletes success.”
Let us note that Rustam Imanzadeh broke his right arm and seriously injured his back while lifting 148 kg at the continental championship held in Limassol, Cyprus in 2014. Although he received treatment for a year, he had to end his career.
