Released on October 27, 2026, the Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas expansion brings a South American-inspired setting, coffee and banana plantations, and alpacas to PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X&S.
The latest expansion for GIANTS Software’s farming simulation franchise turns its focus toward the Brazilian countryside. Players can acquire the add-on digitally, or purchase the bundled Beans & Alpacas Edition for £51.99, which includes both the base game and the new content.
Catuaí Map and Plantation Farming Systems
The expansion introduces the Catuaí region, which swaps familiar farmland for red-soil hills, riverside stilt houses, winding roads, and dense greenery. Wildlife such as parrots and caimans populate the landscape alongside more than 1,000 environmental details and buildings. Two major crop additions anchor the gameplay: coffee and bananas.

Establishing coffee plantations requires specialized harvesters before the harvested beans move through drying and roasting facilities. The final output extends into packaged coffee, coffee capsules, and tiramisu. Meanwhile, banana farming relies on dedicated transport rails and washing stations, allowing players to process the fruit into chips, jam, and cake. The agricultural infrastructure is further supported by over 25 new machines and implements from manufacturers like Case IH, John Deere, New Holland, Valtra, and Mercedes-Benz Trucks, alongside new equipment brands Colombo Industries and Southern Spreaders.
Players Can Shear Alpacas and Raise Brahman Cattle
Livestock management expands beyond traditional farm animals with the introduction of alpacas. Players can lead the animals on walks to boost their happiness and shear them once a year in spring. Shearing can be completed through an interactive minigame or delegated to hired workers. The harvested fleece can be sold directly or processed into wool products such as socks, pillows, furniture, and plush toys. Brahman cattle also join the animal roster.

Secondary Objectives Include Donating Dinosaur Skeletons and Building Research Centers
Beyond traditional crop cycles and animal husbandry, the region offers secondary objectives designed to diversify daily routines. Players can hunt for dinosaur skeleton parts while exploring the map and donate their discoveries to a local museum. Additional projects include managing pigment and resin production to repaint houses for the local community and contributing materials toward constructing a new Research Center.
