Fastweb enters the energy market. No refills for now

by time news

Fastweb arrives in the energy market with a revolutionary proposal: fixed fee, consumption bands, transparency and the promise of zero constraints.

Fastweb has officially announced its debut in the energy market. However, it will do so with a radically different approach to what we are used to. With an offer that seems borrowed from telephony with fixed, clear and all-inclusive prices (VAT, excise duties, transport prices, etc…).

For now it is aimed at private individuals, but very soon companies will also be able to choose Fastweb Energia.

The Fastweb Energia offer

Fastweb offers contracts with fixed fees that vary according to the needs of the consumer. The great news (for the energy sector) is that the price includes everything: expenditure on raw materials, expenditure on transport and meter management, expenditure on system charges, excise duties, VAT, etc. Furthermore, families can count on the certainty of a fixed monthly expense.

Specifically, there are three offers for now: Fastweb Energia Light which costs 45 euros per month and offers 1,500 kWh per year, Fastweb Energy Full at 65 euros per month for 2,500 kWh per year and Fastweb Energy Maxi at 95 euros per month for 4,000 kWh per year. Consumption is not fractional, but annual, while bills are monthly.

If the consumption included in the contract is exceeded, the price per kWh will be 0.45 euros. These are the tariffs to be considered for 3 kW supplies, the tariffs for the most energy-intensive families will soon also be made available.

Offer within the offer

Fastweb has set itself the objective of making 150 million euros in the first three years. To achieve this, aim for a great start. And it offers a great start 5 euro discount for Fastweb subscribers, but above all it freezes the price for everyone for the first 5 years. An introductory offer that will only last the first three weeks, but which could also be extended.

No special rates for top-ups

Fastweb will provide 100% energy from renewable sources; a green strategy which however does not go beyond procurement. In fact, for now, noThere are no special rates for those who need a lot of energy, for example to recharge their electric car in the garage. “If this is a request that comes from our customers – explains Walter Renna, AD Fastweb – We will certainly take it into consideration.”
