Fatorda: FC Goa return to winning ways with a resounding win over Jamshedpur FC in front of their home crowd in the ISL. Goa’s authentic win was by three goals to none in the match at the Fatorda Stadium. With their third win of the season, Goa moved up to second place in the points table. In the last match, Goa lost to Hyderabad FC by one goal.

Goa fielded in a 4-2-3-1 formation and Jamshedpur in a 4-4-2 formation. Goa took the lead in the match with a double goal within 12 minutes in the first half. Striker Iker Goirochena scored the first goal in the second minute with a beautiful finish. Noah Sadoi also netted for Goa in the 12th minute. Later both teams, especially Goa, made efforts but more goals were denied. But with seven minutes of extra time allowed, Goa’s third goal came. Bryson Fernandez completed the list in the 93rd minute.

With the win, Goa moved to the second position in the table with 9 points from four matches. Jamshedpur are eighth with only four points. Hyderabad FC continues to lead the table with 10 points with three wins and one draw in four games. Kerala Blasters are at the 10th position with only one win.

Chennaiyin FC will face East Bengal in tomorrow’s match. The match will be played at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. Kerala Blasters have a match on Saturday. The opponents are North East United. The match will be held in Guwahati on the North East stage.
