As the clock ticked down, Jena remained resolute, absorbing the pressure and defending with tenacity. A late effort from substitute Zoe hasenauer in the 84th minute narrowly missed the target, proving to be Köln’s final opportunity.

Carl Zeiss Jena celebrated a hard-fought victory, leaving Köln to reflect on a disappointing result. Köln will travel to RB Leipzig for their next Women’s Bundesliga match on Sunday, December 21, 2025, with kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m.
