FDI: Gabon captured 82 billion francs from France in 2022

DIG/ According to data from the Banque de France, Gabon has attracted 126 million Euros (around 82 billion FCFA) from foreign direct investment (FDI) stocks from France.

Gabon is thus positioned as the second country having captured the largest amount of FDI from France in 2022 in the Cemac zone.

Our country is positioned behind Congo which recorded during the period under review 786 million euros (515 billion francs) in FDI from France.

For its part, Cameroon, the largest economy in the zone, recorded a 38% drop in the volume of French FDI during the period under review.

This flow is located to 41.9 billion FCFA in 2022 against 67.5 billion FCFA in 2021.
