Gennady Fedynich, the former head of the Independent Trade Union of Radio-Electronic Industry Workers – REP, is in the Bobruisk colony. He was sentenced to nine years in prison under a heavy regime.

Naturally, Fedynich’s age is such that it is better to spend time at the dacha or in a sanatorium, but it is also good that lately he has not had an exacerbation of old diseases in the colony. As you know, Gennady Fedorovich has diabetes, but he feels more or less normal.
“As far as is known, Vasily Beresnev is also planning a meeting with relatives, but Vaclav Oreshko has problems,” the interlocutors add. – Firstly, he has rather poor eyesight, which is only getting worse. At one time, he even had an operation in front of his eyes. Secondly, Vaclav is still given penalties, and therefore both meetings and transfers are prohibited.
Recall that Yaroshuk, Antusevich and accountant Irina But-Gusaim were detained on April 19, 2022.
They were accused of actions “grossly violating public order” (part 1 of article 342), and Yaroshuk was also accused of “calling for restrictive measures, other actions aimed at causing harm to the national security of the Republic of Belarus” (part 3 of article 361).
As a result, Alexander Yaroshuk was sentenced to 4 years in prison, Sergei Antusevich – to 2 years, Irina But-Gusaim – to 1.5 years in prison.
Later, Gennady Fedynich and Vasily Beresnev each received 9 years in prison under a reinforced regime, Vatslav Oreshko – 8 years.
