This Wednesday at noon, King Felipe VI visited the exhibition ‘Miró-Picasso‘ at the Museu Picasso in Barcelona, one of the two venues of the exhibition, which will also later visit the Fundació Miró.
He did so accompanied by Mayor Jaume Collboni; the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Icetaand the Government delegate in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto.
He was also received by the director of the museum, Emmanuel Guigon; the commissioner for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Picasso’s death, Carlos Alberdiand the two commissioners, Margarida Cortadella and Elena Llorens.
The king entered accompanied by the authorities, and during the visit he stopped in front of the mural ‘Mercure‘, by Picasso.
The exhibition celebrates the relationship of friendship and complicity of these two artists.
