Meet Abigail Kling Tanji, a musician, singer and creator with a unique voice that sounds close and familiar as if she has always been here.
In her childhood home she absorbed a lot from the world of music and music, studied and created music from a young age until today. In the new song “And the Heart Will Open” she writes about listening to voices rising from the mountains, from the wind blowing around her. A voice calling for her to come out and make her dream come true. Understand that now is her turn.
Despite the fears – the heart will still open, the sea will crack and the sun will still rise, simply because it has to happen. Abigail has come a long way impressively. She combines the practice of music as a healing tool, studying music therapy. At the same time, she has been playing as a DJ for a long time in a growing women’s party scene, where she has gained a lot of experience in front of an audience on various stages, both as a singer and as a DJ. The debut album on the way combines solo, R&B and folk.
Abigail reveals honest texts that pertain to everyday life from a feminine and faith perspective.
Listen to the new song “And the heart will open”:
Lyrics:
A voice from the mountains calls me to go
A voice from the mountains calls to me to come
Soon and there will be a dump
Soon but I’m still here
The sound of a breeze in the evening
A voice is now playing in my head
Soon we will spread our wings
Soon and fly without fear
And the heart will open
And the water shall be as a wall, and in its strength
And the sun will rise
And we will pass by land in the sea
We may see a-lokim (in the sea)
Maybe we’ll leave the fears (in the sea)
We will eat sweet fruit (in the sea)
As Moses and priests
