Quang Teo, real name Nguyen Tien Quang, was born in 1962 in Hanoi. He graduated from the Cheo Department, Military College of Culture and Arts (now Military College of Culture and Arts). The artist began his career performing in Cheo, then moved to the Military Drama Theater in 1986.
The artist is most famous for his comedy, playing farmer roles on stage and screen. He used to be a “matching pair” with artist Giang Coi, creating many skits that were loved by the audience.

At the age of over 60, Quang Teo still works hard and is happily married to his secretive worker wife. Quang Teo’s fate in meeting his wife began with… his mother-in-law.
During a visit to a sick friend in the hospital, the “barefoot tycoon” was inherently jovial so he interacted and chatted with everyone. Coincidentally, his mother-in-law was also treated here. Because she admired the funny and charming boy, after being discharged from the hospital, she invited the male artist to her home to visit. He met and known his wife since then.
However, after 13 years of infertility, Quang Teo and his wife longed for a child. Many people even advised them to leave each other to find new happiness.
But luckily, Quang Teo and his partner were steadfast and stood side by side through all the gossip. During those 13 years, Quang Teo never once let go of his wife’s hand.
In the 14th year, when hopes gradually cooled, the “sweet fruit” came in the form of bursting happiness. Quang Teo’s wife is pregnant, even with twins.
In 2003, the male artist and his wife happily welcomed two “angels” into the world, “full of good things”. The “barefoot tycoon”‘s partner then sacrificed her career and stayed home to take care of the children so her husband could feel secure in his job.

Thanks to his hard work, in 2022 the artist inaugurated a garden house in Thach That (Hanoi), neoclassical style, 1,000 m2 wide, built on land he bought 18 years ago.
Quang Teo loves nature and likes to grow flowers and trees. He said most of the trees were given to him by friends, and sometimes artists had to refuse because there was not enough land left to plant them.
On days without a work schedule, Quang Teo spends most of his time at home, watching TV and updating the news. When there is time, the artist can spend the whole day next to the teapot, looking at the trees.

Quang Teo once talked about his home with all joy and pride, saying: “60 years of life, traveling all over the country, only now can I come back and build that house.”
The male artist is very diligent in “running the show”, not afraid of difficulties and hardships. When his wife stopped working to focus on taking care of their two young children and raising the whole family alone, Quang Teo became even more diligent and frugal.
Currently, Quang Teo hopes to have good health to continue performing comedy for the public.
