Tours, reigning French volleyball champion, continued its negative spiral with a fifth defeat in a row in League A, Tuesday in Saint-Nazaire in three sets (26-24 25-18 25-22). The TVB, reworked in the off-season, occupies 11th place in the ranking with just three points, 15 lengths behind leader Tourcoing.

Tours won at the opening of the season against Saint-Jean d’Illac before losing in Paris (3-1), at home against Montpellier (3-2), then in Toulouse (3-1) and again in his room, against Chaumont (3-0). He receives Poitiers on Saturday.
