Square Enix Announces Paid DLC for Final Fantasy XVI
Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XVI will be receiving paid extensions, much to the excitement of fans. The company had previously mentioned that more information would be revealed by the end of the year, and it seems they have delivered more than just information.
The newly released trailer unveils that the expansion packs for Final Fantasy XVI will be called Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. Echoes of the Fallen is already available on the PlayStation Store and offers players more story, new enemies, new weapons (including Cloud Strife’s Bane Sword), a higher level cap, and more.
Furthermore, The Rising Tide is set to arrive in Spring 2024 and will bring “new challenges” including a battle against the legendary Eikon Leviathan.
