The situation has worsened

The figure of 30% confirms the worsening of the situation. On Wednesday, the government spokesman, Olivier Véran, had mentioned 12% of stations concerned. According to the Minister of Energy Transition, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, we had gone to 15% on Thursday, then to 19% on Friday. On Saturday, the Ministry of Energy Transition reported 20.7% of service stations struggling to obtain supplies.

The CGT renews the strike on Tuesday
For the moment, the situation is not improving. The strike for wages at TotalEnergies was renewed Monday until Tuesday and extended to around fifteen motorway service stations of the Argedis network, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, according to union sources cited by AFP. At Esso-ExxonMobil, the movement was also renewed after a meeting with management described as “inconclusive» by Christophe Aubert, CGT central union representative.
