More than 400 firefighters, supported by a hundred vehicles, are fighting a fire today in a bush area in the town of in themin the center of Portugal, which, according to local media, has so far caused four wounded.
Among the four injured are two firefighters who were working to put out the fire, which also caused a national highway to be cut. According to data provided by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere, the country registered a maximum of 45.6 degrees this Tuesday, in Alvega e Pinhão, also in the Central Region (bordering Castilla y León and Extremadura).
