For the first time, a person has died from measles in the United States.
A Texas man has died, according to the state health department. So far 15 people have died from monkeypox worldwide.
Since last April, more than 45 thousand cases of monkeypox have been confirmed in 98 countries, 60 percent of which have been reported in the United States and 38 percent in Europe, according to the World Health Organization.
