Seong Seung-min (Korea National Sport University), who is challenging for his first individual Olympic medal in the modern pentathlon, has earned a spot in the finals.
He ranked 4th out of 18 people, earning a ticket to the finals, which is given to the top 9. Seong Seung-min became the first female athlete in Korean modern pentathlon history to win the individual event at the World Championships and rise to the top of the world rankings.
In his first Olympic appearance, he continued his momentum and showed a performance worthy of a medal hopeful.
